Hello Lost Friends

Firstly, I would like to apologise for my absence on our Milly + Co. website. Life has thrown some wonderful curve balls my way in the months I have been M.I.A.

On the 29th of April this year I started a new job, whilst welcoming my year as a 23-year-old. This was somewhat of a new beginning for me - a challenge; new direction; a chance to set fresh goals and seek alternate paths to achieve them. I was also dealing with the fact I'm another year older and not noticeably maturer!  

My new position is actually within retail. I was appointed Store Manager for a large fashion company, managing 3 brands, 8 individual departments and a larger team than I had previously directed. I really enjoy fashion retail management - it is a huge challenge some days; however, it is rewarding, inspiring and motivating. It also allows me to focus wholly on my design work outside of typical "work" hours. I have seen greater opportunities arise, I have built lasting working relationships with clients over projects, and I have perfected my understanding of time management.
